
Ohio Air National Guard Readiness Center

The Ohio Army National Guard activated their 26,000 sf “Readiness Center”, located in Coshocton, Ohio. The center includes an assembly hall, full service kitchen, gear storage, state-of-the-art maintenance facilities, physical fitness room, locker/shower rooms, tool storage and vehicle maintenance bays, officer / commander office space, and library / learning classrooms.
Mechanically, the building is equipped with an oil-fired, hot water boiler, and hydronic heating equipment; including unit heaters, perimeter radiation and PTAC units. The kitchen and locker rooms contain oil-fired make-up air and an exhaust system. The battery charging room is also equipped with exhaust ventilation. All the showers are heated by oil-fired hot water heaters. The entire facility is fully sprinklered. The electrical system is powered by a 480V/3Æ distribution system. The building is equipped with a fire alarm and security system. All MEP systems were designed with seismic restraints. Martin Rogers Associates provided full MEP/FP design services for the new center.
